Does it read the PDF, or just the file name?
It reads the text. Where a page has no text layer, which is most scans and every photo, it reads the page as an image instead. A scan of a scan still works.
How big can the file be?
Up to 18 MB for documents and images, and up to 250 MB for audio, which is a long lecture. YouTube links have no size at all, because nothing gets uploaded.
What do I actually get back?
A lesson, a quiz, a flashcard deck, or a short video, depending on what you ask for. They are objects rather than replies: you can reopen them, be quizzed on them later, and keep them in one place.
Do I have to organize anything first?
No. Handwriting, half-finished notes, a slide deck with three useful slides in it. Working out which parts matter is the job, not the prerequisite.
